WHO AM I
Meet your host: Mathilde
I teach Hatha, Yin, and Yoga Nidra, and I also work with breathwork, meditation, journaling, and oracle cards. My approach is soft, spiritual, and very much for real life: no performance, no pressure, no pretending.
I created Rest & Reconnect because I kept seeing the same thing: people who desperately needed to pause but didn't know how to give themselves permission. My approach is to blend movement, mind & spiritual practices so your nervous system can truly find rest, your body can feel great again and you can safely let go of unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs. Holding space for you is my greatest honour.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are a few answers to the questions you may have
-
Do I need to have done yoga before? Not at all. This workshop is designed to be welcoming to complete beginners. Everything is guided, modifications are always offered, and you'll never be asked to do anything that doesn't feel right for your body.
-
What should I bring? Just yourself and comfortable clothing you can move in. All yoga props are provided. You may want to bring a water bottle, and a notebook if you prefer to journal in your own.
-
What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is a guided practice of deep conscious rest. You lie still and are led through a systematic relaxation of the body and mind — you don't need to do anything. Many people find it more restorative than sleep. It is suitable for absolutely everyone.
-
What if I fall asleep during Yoga Nidra? That's completely fine — the practice works even when you drift off. There's no wrong way to receive it.
-
Can I attend if I have an injury or health condition? Please do reach out before booking so we can make sure the workshop is right for you. The Yoga Nidra and journaling sections are accessible to almost everyone, and modifications are always available in the yoga flow.
